At 19:30 on September 16, 1999, the team was requested by the Rockland County Fire Coordinator to assist with rescue and building evaluations.
The team was operational from 06:00 to 19:00 - 09/17/99 and conducted approximately 50 building inspections.

On August 11, 1999, OFPC was contacted in reference to providing assistance in search and rescue or recovery for a missing individual in the John Boyd Thacher State Park, Village of Voorheesville - Albany County.
The Albany County Sheriffs Department was requesting assistance with search along 6 miles of limestone cliff-face.
The team operated on 08/12/99 from 06:00-12:00.
The team was broken into two squads that searched very rugged areas.
At approximately 10:30, the victim was found along a rock-strewn slope.

On July 19, 1999 at 17:00, FPS Phil Hanlon  called the Albany OFPC to advise of a building collapse of a 4 story - 150 year old taxpayer in the Village of Fredonia - Chautauqua County.
There was a report that one occupant of the building was unaccounted for.
At 19:00, a forward team was organized and dispatched to the scene. The forward team consisted of:
OFPC Liason
Team leader
Rescue team manager
Rescue squad officer
Safety officer
Logistics specialist
 

The forward team was transported from the Albany International Airport to the Village of Fredoina via New York State Police fixed wing aircraft.

The forward team arrived on scene at 21:30.
The team leader met with the incident commander to evaluate the needs of the incident.
The remaining rescue team personnel utilized electronic search equipment on the rubble pile and remaining structure.
At 23:45 the missing individual showed up for work at their place of employment.
At this time the incident was terminated.
